8:30am

I stayed up til 1am last night to watch a very good movie called,

The whole point of the show?
Our healthcare system does not want to kill you
and does not want to heal you.
They'll give you medications so you'll feel better but
nothing to cure you or eliminate the problem.
They want your business so they will do things
to keep you coming back.
It's a business that is all about the money just
like anything else!!
The media plays right along with this
to make us want to go to the doctor.
Think about all these commercials seen on tv
for prescription drugs.  They want you to ask your doctor for
them to make money!
There are only two countries in the world that allow this,
The US and New Zealand.  Nowhere else is it allowed!

11:30pm

Time for a late breakfast of hashbrowns,
chicken sausages, eggs & toast.

Working on a supper menu for the week.
-Chicken (canned), potato, cheese & broccoli soup
-2 BBQ chicken (bagged & breaded) pizzas
-Chicken (breaded patties) parmesiana with spaghetti
-Pork chops
-Cheese brats
-Hot dogs

I got some broccoli to blanche & package for the freezer
and some to do up in the dehydrator this week.

9:50pm

Today we watched the nascar race, did some laundry,
did some shopping  (menards & Kroger),
worked on our toilet which usually requires
numerous plunges a day to get it to flush and visited a friend
later in the day,

Hubby pulled the toilet and examined it.
We poured a 5 gallon bucket of water down
the main drain to see if the clog may be in there.
Water flowed without a problem so it's not there.
Took the toilet outside and poured water through it.
Seemed to go through fine.
Inspected it to see if we could find something
clogging it.  We think something fell off the shelf
behind the toilet and got lodged in there.
Couldn't see or feel anything.
Replaced the wax ring, bolts and water supply line.
Re-installed it and it worked fine for awhile
but then it was back to it's old tricks of not
flushing all the way.
We've already tried a toilet auger on a different day.
I don't know what else to do other than to
replace the toilet.  Great!
Pricing toilets online at different stores around here.
I see one for $69.  Wonder if hubby could get one
through work at a discounted price?
Always something.  Plus we want to replace
the vinyl in the bathroom so there's another
$20 to $30.  We also noticed that our vanity has
some water damage on it and will need replaced in time.
Habitat here I come, lol.
My in-laws landed a beautiful vanity for their bathroom at their Habitat.
And our bathtub needs redone.
Needs sanded down and repainted.
So looks like we'll be getting a "new" bathroom
slowly but surely.
So let's see how cheaply I can redo an entire bathroom!
It's not something that has to be done right away
so I have time to scour around for things.

We've aleady replaced the ceiling fan motor (was loud)
and the lights above the sink with some freebies.
The house came with lights in there that could
of lit up a runway and blinded the person in the bedroom
across the hall.  It was a silver strip light with about
4-5 bulbs in it.  That went out soon after moving in!
They were remodeling bathrooms at hubby's work
and this light was headed for the trash til hubby saved it.
It was of a cream color and I painted it
a soft silver.  It matches the one above our kitchen
sink that came with the house!
Shower curtain/rings, quart of
blue paint was free as well.
Real framed ocean painting on wall was $5 or less
from a yard sale and I replaced a small medicine
cabinet on the wall behind the toilet
with a large shelf for around $5
and painted over the dark wood with some
free off white paint.
The cushioned lighthouse toilet seat was free also.
Someone left it behind in an apartment when they
moved out.  It was new still in the box!

Last night while out and about going to a friends
house in Groveport I took along my camera
to practice some sunset photos.
 Here's my favorite one.
