9:50am

Well I'm going to Walgreens Take Care Clinic
because I can't take this crap any longer!
Obviously I'm gonna need some antibiotics
or something of the sort.
I've given it a week and have tried everything
I can think of to get rid of this cold, sinus,
bronchitis, whatever the heck it is, with no luck.
I think the worst thing I have been dealing with
is the deep cough which in turn has caused
my ribs, back and hips to hurt sooooo bad.
I'm waking up in the night bawling from the pain
from coughing.  I can't sleep well.
I've got one week to get better before
leaving on vacation.
If for some reason we should not be able to go
we did take out insurance on our tickets
and our hotel has a no fee cancellation.

3:30pm

I don't like doctors!
Went to Walgreens, signed in and there was
two people in front of me.
My turn finally came.  I told doc that I have chest congestion
that hasn't gone away in a week and with it
came rib and back pain because of coughing.
Shouldn't of said that because the lady about flipped out.
She put a monitor on my finger and told me
my oxygen level was low at 93%
and said I needed to go to Urgent Care
because she thought I might have pneumonia.
I told her I thought it was just bronchitis.

Soooo, we go to Urgent Care.
A forever and a day's wait to be seen
and to be checked out once done.
Told them what Walgreens said and told
them my symptoms.
They told me my oxygen level wasn't
nothing to worry about.
They listened to my lungs and felt around,
No Xray was done.
The end result was....
Acute Bronchitis.
Hmmmm seems like I've said that somewhere else
that wouldn't listen to me.
I had a head cold which cleared up and drained
into my chest which in turn got infected.
So now I have to take
-Prednisone (steriods) for the next 9 days.
-Amoxicillin (antibiotics) for about 7-9 days
-Albuteral (inhaler) as needed

Doc said I should be feeling up to par
by next weekend to go on vacation.
Let's hope so because one week of this crap
is too long for me.

6:45pm

I took my prescription meds soon after getting them from Kroger.
It wasn't until after I got home that I did a puff from
the inhaler which seemed to help.
It's been a long time since I've used an inhaler.
Yup it still made me shaky and this time
around it made me feel like I had a drunk buzz going.
Well at least that's what hubby compared it to.
That was about an hour ago and I still feel it.

Me and hubby went and got the tires put on the truck.
Why oh why do I still continue to go back to
Sandy's Used Tires?  I know they don't like me.
The place was soooo much better when it
was Steve's Used Tires.
But Steve and Sandy divorced and she got this
tire business I go to.

I know they don't like me because I like to jew them down in price
and two because I think the tires they sell are too high priced
and I go and buy my own elsewhere because of it
and have them put on
and there's probably a third because I am picky, lol.
If I'm paying you're going to do it my way or no way!
Things like white lettering out or in (I didn't have that this time),
certain tires on the front and back,
and don't put the lugs on so damn tight that
I can't take them off with a four way iron!!

I parked out front at first and did not go
into the drive thru area.  We were going to
wheel and deal about price of installing my tires
before I was committed with getting in line
and have someone pull up behind me and block me in.

Well I first got a quote of $18 a tire.
Hmmmm, can't ya give me a better deal than that?
And about that time another guy came around
the corner and they both talked in Spanish
about our negotiation.  I hate when people do that.
He then tells me he can do $16.50 a tire.
I hesitated and started to walk back to my truck.
I then said, I was hoping to do them for about $15
a tire, nothing more.
He didn't want to see me leave, lol,
so $15 a tire it was and I pulled on into the garage.

Oh, I still had to hear them bickering about it all.
From, the tires I bought were crap and no better than
the ones on the truck to they were too big
and everything in between.
I couldn't help but twerp up a few times and voice my opinion
about their comments.
First of all how can you say that these tires are
no better than the ones on my truck?
You saw photos I posted of the tread worn on my front tires.
The passenger back tire was cupped and
the driver's side back tire leaked air.
So I beg to differ.

Then they asked how much I paid for my tires.
I told them $80 for all 4.
I told them that the guy who sold them to me
tried to sell them to Sandy's before posting on
Craigslist but Sandy said they didn't need any.
What was up with that I asked them?
He says, there was a reason we didn't buy them,
just look at them.
Ahhh, just trying to get under my skin a little more.
Good thing I took a hit off my inhaler
before arriving there to make me feel goofy
because I would have told them off.
I have been shown some of their mismatched
tires they had for sale that had tread on them
that looked like they maybe would last a week.
telling me they wanted $35 for them.
NOT!  I'm not a sucker and I'm not going
to be talked to like they did me.
After this trip I think I'll be taking my business
elsewhere like Lee's Used Tires.

Oh yeah, one last thing about Sandy's,
they said if I leave the old tires with them
they would charge a $3.00 disposal fee per tire
so I told them to put them in the back of the truck
I would take them with me instead of charging
me an extra $12.
Well the barn doors were left open
and no one decided to put them dang tires
in the truck.  Well, lol, I closed the doors,
hopped on in the truck and drove away
and left those damn tires there.
No tire fee for me, LMAO!
Should've put them in the truck now they
are their problem.
Should've treated me a little nicer!

BEFORE

AFTER
Bigger looks and drives better in my opinion.

You can feel the truck sitting up higher
and it seems to ride much better.
Might even get better gas mileage with larger tires also
since there is less rotation with a larger tire
than a smaller one.

I also worked on moving my solar dehydrater
to where I want to use it in the yard.
I removed the screen from the sides.
Still need to make trays and racks for it
and attach wheels to the solar heater
so I can move it.  Might take the front door off
and apart and reuse the hinges and slide lock
to build a side door on the dehydrator instead.
If I use it as a solar dehydrater instead of
a sun dryer then I need to board up the sides
to hold the heat in.
I think I would like to find an old
coffee or end table to put this soon to be dehydrator
on to lift it up more then would like to
hook up and lean the solar heater to the front bottom of it.
It's a work in progress and will all depend upon
the materials I can find for free to complete it.
I'm just trying to find a way to use my solar heater
year round with the work and money I put into it.
Why not be able to use it in the Summer time
as well as the Winter instead of letting it sit around
doing nothing.

Well I'm going to chill for the evening.
It's now 8:05pm and the on call pager has been quiet
for now.  We had three calls earlier today.
Hubby actually had to go to one of them
while I was in the doctor's office.
We'll see how tonight goes with the pager
and if it stays quiet.
Right now I still feel a little weird from
my medicine or inhaler and I'm tired
from not sleeping well last night.
Hubby said (I don't remember it)
that I woke up last night a couple times
in pain and was crying.

I think me and hubby might go for a walk
down the street since it's such a nice night outside.
