4-6-13

7:15am

Woke up at 6:30am.  Too early for it being the weekend.
Going to try and get an early start with going to the
flea market.  Hoping to be there before 9am.

Yesterday evening we went to a friend's house
and watched a movie.  Got home around 9-10pm.
Stomach didn't feel the greatest still and
still felt so tired but at least I am trying
to be up and moving at times.
The movie was ok,  I think it was something called Thor.
Not exactly a girly movie.
But it was pretty cool to watch it in 3D on a 60 inch
tv with 3D glasses without going to a movie theater.
I was ready to hit the sack once back home though
with the heating pad on yee haw.

It's supposed to be 61 degrees today.
Right now it's 31 degrees out and feels like 28 degrees.

12:35pm

Too pooped to pop at the moment.
The flea market didn't seem all that today.
I got 5 pictures frames for $2.00
and a pair of Winter boots for Free.

Hubby bought a portable 40 channel CB.
I know, when was the last time you heard anyone
still using these???
It brought back memories when we plugged it
into the truck and mounted the antenna on top.
The 10-code started coming back to me
along with explaining to the kids why people
used funny names on there to call themselves.
FYI one guy went by Dirty Diaper, LOL!
Let's see way back when I went by
Little Miss Muffet (waaaaay way back when)
then as I got older there was
Country Girl and Mother Trucker.
And way back when we had a little CB group
called the Breakfast Club of all things that hooked
up at a fast food joint in the mornings to
meet one another and talk cb radio.
Surprisingly there are still people who talk on them.
While hubby doesn't like the idea of prepping
for disasters or what have you, a CB radio is a good
thing to have in all reality!  When your electric goes out along with
landlines, cell phone towers and everything else
fails on you in a disaster situation,
you can still use a CB radio to reach out for help.
You don't need to rely on cell phone tower
antennas to use them since they use radio waves.

From the flea market we stopped by home
then went over to hubby's work on an emergency call.
While there we got the full mattress, box spring and frame
from the vacated apartment and went through
a few more things.
Found toiletry, bath and cleaning items
along with 3 more new things of Isotonix.

Another full size sheet set with pillow cases,
shower caddy,  cotton first aid pads,
a usb wall/electric adapter and two mouses.

A pretty fancy Cyborg gaming keyboard that I couldn't
tell you what half the buttons do.
It also lights up.

A bow with arrow.

And lastly, a skateboard which
was found in a dumpster on the property.

Whew, we've been busy little campers today.
Got the mattress out of the truck
and the box spring untied off the top of the truck
and now will work on taking
my youngest son's futon apart and getting
that put in the truck to haul over to hubby's work.
Sure getting one heck of a workout today.
Whelp time to go get started on my son's room.
This will be fun, ahhhh.

5:30pm

Took a load over to hubby's work then came
back home and brought in and set up my son's
mattress.  I got to looking at it and did some
measuring and what we thought was a full bed
is I think a queen sized bed!
It's pretty damn comfortable!!  It's a pillow top.
I might go in his bedroom to sleep, lol.

Well it's time to eat some supper which
has been cooking in the crock for
the past couple of hours...ham...yummy.
Drizzled with a cinnamon maple syrup,
sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice
and then some dark brown sugar.

I know I'm ready to chill out for the day!
