6:00am

I did not sleep well at all last night.
I was up and down all night long.
Heck I even got up at 5:20am.
Columbus schools are OPEN today.

I awoke last night around 1:00am.
I was so thirsty.  I drank (or tried to drink)
2 glasses of water.  I threw up after every drink.
Went back to bed about 1:30am with a glass of
water and a trash can.   1:40am I began throwing
up again when drinking, to the point I got
dry heaves.  That there was a good thing for me!
It caused that piece of food that was lodged
deep in my digestive tract to come out.
After that I was totally fine.
I could finally drink anything without throwing up!!
That piece of food has been lodged in there
for about 12 hours causing all my problems.
I haven't ate anything and kept it down since getting up yesterday
morning when I ate a piece of leftover pizza.
Then for lunch I got as far as eating one bite
of ham.  That ham piece was the culprit to
me being miserable for the next 12 hours!
Couldn't eat, couldn't drink nothing!
Constant throwing up for 12 hours straight.

Imagine a clog in your sink.
You pour water into it, it goes in
and starts to back the water into to your sink.
That's how my digestive track was.
That piece of food stuck in there would
not allow food or liquids to pass til
it became unclogged.

8:30am

I am a day behind with working on the bathroom.
Nothing got done in there yesterday.
I'm not sure how far I will get today
without a whole lot of sleep.
I need to wipe down and clean all the walls still,
paint, put up cove base.

I took a piece of our bathroom vinyl floor
into Menards when looking for a color for the walls.
I wanted a warm tan color to go with the floor
and the vanity cabinet oak color.
(hubby won't let me paint the vanity so I'm stuck with oak)

I splashed on a little paint this morning
just to see how it's going to turn out.
Looking good I think.

Hubby was going to go with a semi-gloss paint,
it's probably what they use at his work for bathrooms
is why he probably wanted to go this route.
I went with a satin finish.
My reason being is the bathroom is such a small
room with a lot of light that I didn't want
it reflecting off the wall so much.
The satin finish paint says it is still
scrubbable, washable and resists stains.

What Spring looks like in Columbus, YUCK!
They say we got 3.5 inches of snow.

 2:10pm

The snow is starting to fall again.

I got my bathroom walls wiped down and cleaned
to prep for the paint.
Earlier I laid down and took a good long nap.
After last night I needed it!
Once caulking (or is it silicone, I get the two confused),
painting and cove base are done
I might wait til a warmer day to refinish the bathtub.
That paint is very stinky and I'll need to open the
bathroom window for ventilation.

Once the above painting is done then
I'll start work on painting my picture ledge (off white
to match the rest of the trim)
for the living room and getting it all put together
and mounted on the wall.
The photo ledge will look like a chair rail
only it will sit higher up the wall.

3:30 - 4:30pm

I got the largest wall painted in the bathroom.
Looks much warmer in there now.

Here's a before and after.
Cove base still needs put on.

9:00pm

Had to run to hubby's work because
he forgot his phone.
Plus while there we went into a vacant
apartment where someone had left a few things
and brought them home.
Full size bed (inspected thoroughly!!),
candy dish (for mom),
brown vase with scented sticks in it,
2 bags flour, 1 bag sugar, 1 bag pancake mix,
large can tomatoes, can of veggie soup, mac & cheese,
box of parchment paper, cleaning supplies,
small organizer with 3 drawers,
bathroom scale,  4th generation 32gb Ipod.
(worth about $100 to $150 according to Ebay)
This is the second Ipod we have now.
The first one I bought at a yard sale for $1.00.
The people said it didn't work.
Bought a charger and it works perfectly.

Stopped by Kroger on the way home to
pick up some cheese because we have a cheese
bandit in our house.
Found 2 packs of corn dogs for .50 cents each,
1/2 gallons mint chocolate chip ice cream $1.00 each
and Hot Pockets for .87 cents a box.
