Columbus, OH ranked #12 for being
one of the top frugal cities in the US.
Cleveland, OH ranked #8 and
Cincinnati, OH #7.
Ohio was the only state to have the most cities in the top 12!
I haven't done much today but make a list for homemade MREs
or food to use in case of emergencies like no power
and research and study home remedies using supplements,
vitamins, minerals and herbs.
This is the best I have felt with no aches and pains
ever since using a multi-vitamin A-Z,
2,000 IU of Vitamin D3
and 1 1,000mg Omega 3 Fish Oil.
I've only been doing it for 15 days now
so we'll see if time will tell if it's something
that will help me in the long run.
I was taking acetaminophin and sometimes
Ibuprofin 2 or more times daily for severe constant aching and
throbbing body pains from the Crohn's Disease.
I haven't had any for about 15 days now! That says a lot for me!!!
My next research I've been doing is looking
for a natural remedy to help treat or cure
any ulcers in the intestines or colon from Crohn's
and something that will keep diarrhea away.
I hate being dependent on prescription
medicine to keep it at bay.
My research doesn't mean reading one article about
something and going by that. It means
reading many, many articles, testimonies, how long these
herbal remedies have been around, where they originated,
side effects if any, what they treat,
and what causes ulcers.
So far here is a list I've come up with
of some herbal supplemental remedies I'm thinking about-
1. DGL Licorice
2. (Chinese) Formula H (by Health Concerns)
3. (Chinese) Isatis Cooling (by Health Concerns)
4. VSL #3 Probiotics
5. (India) Bael
I had a couple others on my list that I ended up crossing off
that I felt would not be in my best interest after researching.
-L Glutamine
-Miracle Mineral Solutions
9:00pm
This evening we made a trip to the Henderson Rd.
Kroger and made a big splurge.
Last Saturday 2/2 we noticed they had a 32" LED TV
for $179.99! Almost a week later I didn't
get hopes up of it still being there considering
they only had the one tv.
Well I was wrong.
We have been shopping around and pricing
tv's to replace one in the kids room
that is more energy efficient.
This tv is energy star rated at $10.88 a year to use.
I still can't believe we got this TV for $179.99
because a couple years back I'm sure
we paid close to $300 for our 32" in our bedroom
and that one is an LCD not an LED.
I looked it up online and you cannot buy
it anywhere at that price.
Online it runs $240 to $350
through 27 different stores.
This is a new not refurbished tv!
All the reviews seem pretty good too around 4 out of 5 stars.
I didn't know the difference between an
LED, LCD and Plasma tv and wondered
which one is better.
I read on PCMag.com that the LED HDTV is the best way to go.
Heck the kids have got it made.
This weekend they will get a "new"
futon, mattress, desk, end table, lamp and tv for their room.
And maybe a black short/wide bookshelf for the tv to sit on.
Still in the works of possibly getting that as it
was in the apartment we cleaned out yesterday.
Someone made claims on it but never picked it up.
